It is designed to work with standard sprinkler / irrigation controller, providing web connectivity and nicer user interface. It has a polished mobile app, intuitive user interface, and is easily expandable to control many stations / zones.The project is fully open-source, and I publish the hardware design as well as software code on GitHub. I have both a Arduino-based version as well as a Raspberry Pi based version. I\’ve attended the Bay Area Maker Faire in the past two years, and really enjoyed it. This is the first time that I am participating in the New York Maker Faire, and I am really looking forward to it.rnrnAlong with the OpenSprinkler project, I will also be demonstrating a couple of other projects, including SquareWear (a wearable electronics controller board), and AASaver (a versatile boost converter for \’dead\’ AA batteries).
